Message lag is essentially a product of turbo size, the bigger the turbo, the more lag. Altering timing *might* help a little, but not noticably. I hypothesize that spool-up characteristics between all 3 ECUs will be comprable. You want to reduce lag, get downpipes and a nice high-flowing exhaust (Hiper ;) or LaBree)
